Overview

The Model 106-M provides ozone measurements by UV absorbance in the 0-1,000 ppm concentration range with a resolution of 0.01 ppm (10 ppb). This medium-range ozone monitor can be used for ambient monitoring as well as off gassing from ozone-treated water.

    30 feet of tubing would be the maximum length of tubing recommended.

  2. Can the internal pump operate continuously?

    Yes. The pump has a rated lifetime of 5,000 hours (7 months).

  3. Can I use a different program than Hyper-terminal to collect the data?

    Yes. A program called Tera-Term is available at the following website: http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA002416/teraterm.html The Tera-Term program is preferred since Hyper-terminal only has a 500 line buffer limit.

  4. I cannot seem to turn datalogging off on my analyzer. Every time I turn the device on, it resumes datalogging even if I have previously turned it to "off" in the Menu.

    This is a bug that occasionally occurs. The following procedure clears up the problem: 1) "Transmit" existing data (this may take some time) 2) "End" the data logging session 3) Log 4 or 5 new data points 4) "End" the data logging session 5) Turn the instrument off When you restart the device, data logging should be off and should stay off - if not, try repeating steps 4 - 6 again. (Please refer to the Operation Manual for your device if you have questions on how to "Transmit", start or end datalogging sessions)

  5. Does this monitor have CE certification?

    Yes.

    The manufacturer provides their software and drivers downloads on their website.

    Use "2B Tech Display and Download Software" and "Model 106 USB Driver" downloads for the UV-106L.
