WOW!!!! I've tried many things to rid the Mildew Smell in my Mustang. I store it winters but it got left with windows open in a thunder storm in October. My wife and I went on a cruise for a week and the weather turned hot at home. Upon returning, my TOY "Mustang" reeked!! I tried spraying everything with Vodka, did not work. Removed the seats and carpet and shampooed them no help other than finding the padding under the carpet was the issue, soaked and stinky!!! I tried warm water and vinegar spray and vacuum. Mildew smell was almost gone but now it smells like you guessed it... Vinegar. Leaving windows open, industrial fan blowing in...still nothing! So I saw this ozone thing and thought why not try it. 1 hr. later....what a difference!! I'm sold! This really worked well. Nasty smells...this method works. Thanks Ozone Solutions...

Due to the high water level this spring, our basement got water in it. Everything was carpeted. When we first noticed it, we immediately started the dehumidifier running several fans, and vacuuming every few hours, but just couldn't keep up with it. The padding under the carpet was like a sponge. Soon it started to smell, so we ended up tearing all the carpet and padding up. We kept the dehumidifier and fans running and opened the windows up hoping the smell would leave, but it didn't.
We heard Ozone Solutions had a machine that could take the smell out of things, so we called to see if there was one available. They told us to leave the machine run in the house for 24 hours, but we should not be in the house while it was running. We left it run for about 26 hours, and when we came back, the horrible smell was completely gone. It smelled like we had the windows open throughout the house on a fresh spring day. We were extremely pleased!

The smoke smell is completely gone in just a week, and renting the machine was much more reasonable than the reclamation service in the Yellow Pages, who wanted $600 to fog with a chemical. The house was occupied by smokers for 4 years, and, although we washed walls, repainted, had the carpet professionally cleaned, and aired it out for a month, the first thing prospective renters noticed when they walked in was the smell of stale cigarette smoke.
