Due to the high water level this spring, our basement got water in it. Everything was carpeted. When we first noticed it, we immediately started the dehumidifier running several fans, and vacuuming every few hours, but just couldn't keep up with it. The padding under the carpet was like a sponge. Soon it started to smell, so we ended up tearing all the carpet and padding up. We kept the dehumidifier and fans running and opened the windows up hoping the smell would leave, but it didn't.
We heard Ozone Solutions had a machine that could take the smell out of things, so we called to see if there was one available. They told us to leave the machine run in the house for 24 hours, but we should not be in the house while it was running. We left it run for about 26 hours, and when we came back, the horrible smell was completely gone. It smelled like we had the windows open throughout the house on a fresh spring day. We were extremely pleased!

I recently rented an ozone generator from you to help with a lingering odor in my house. You see, my wife attempted to burn our house down, and with my brave heroics I foiled her attempt. Although I saved the house from going down in flames, a lingering smokey haze had fallen on the entire main floor. After opening several doors and windows the smoke traveled elsewhere, but we were left with the stench of a thousand campfires everywhere we went. We tried candles, we tried spray, we aired out, and fanned it away to no avail. I was at a loss until I remembered our conversation about ozone in weeks past. Upon renting the ozone generator from you, I immediately put it to work churning out those magical little O-3’s. The system worked great this year. It did slightly improve quality, but more importantly, it killed everything that wasn't supposed to be on the fruit. A benefit I wasn't expecting was how it made the fruit look so shiny and clean. When we wet harvest the cranberry, there is usually a little film left on the berry. The ozone really cleaned that up.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my pleasure with our new ozone air purification system your company installed in our 10,000-head hog finisher unit in New Brunswick.
We were faced with a lot of opposition to our facility mainly due to odour, after months of intensive research into technologies to reduce odour associated with barn air emissions, we selected your ozone systems our best possible choice.
I am pleased to inform you I am not disappointed with the results. As a matter of fact we are experiencing benefits from our system in exeeedence of our expectations. Our main concern was odour reduction and we certainly have accomplished this with your system.
Our employees, our neighbors and ourselves have all noticed a dramatic reduction in odour. Our feed truck driver, for example, remarked to me about one month after we installed the system that his wife could no longer smell “pig smell” on his clothes after delivering feed-to our farm. An inspector with the Provincial Environment Department stated that he could not believe the “amazing drop” in odour levels at our farm. Your claims 75%+ odor reduction from barn air emissions was certainly not an exaggeration. I hope to provide you with actual scientific data in the future on emissions, but for now all I can say is “Problem Solved”.
I would like to bring to your attention other benefits that I am noticing since having your Ozone system installed, while these were not the reason we chose the equipment, it was certainly an added bonus. We are experiencing a marked difference in the comfort levels of both ourselves and our animals in the-barn; Our employees continue to remark on how much more they enjoy working in the barn with the new system and can tell immediately if it turns off for any reason. Our animals are also more comfortable and seem to be performing better.
Some of the side benefits we have noticed are an almost complete halt to tail biting; indicating our animals are more contented. Our feed consumption seems to have increased slightly-while our average daily gain has also increased. This has corresponded with a small drop in mortality rates and in a reduction of noticeable coughing in the barn.
As we had a high-health herd to begin with I did not expect to see any noticeable improvement in production; I was wrong.
Another benefit we noticed after about one month of operation was a decrease in airborne dust particles. Fine dust particles in the air seem be “clumping together” and settling to the ground instead of remaining airborne. We believe this accounts for the decrease noticed in coughing.
With the benefit of the odour reduction effect and increased human and animal comfort, we think that this unit makes good economic sense in the long run. Even slight increases in production will help offset the initial investment of around $10.00 US / hog space in a few short years. This allows us to control odors in an economically viable manner. I can easily see us installing your systems in our other barns in the not so distant fixture. Our operating cost in Canadian dollars is around $0.18 per hog marketed, or about $0.06 per hog space per month.
I have also begun experimenting with using your system in between batches of hogs as a disinfectant tool as we do not like to use chemicals on our farm.
I would like to express my appreciation with the way your company handled themselves during this installation. As with any new system there were a few “start-up bugs”, but you handled them in a quick and efficient manner without hesitation or question.
Thank you for bringing this product to our operation and we look forward to dealing with you again in the future. We were unable to maintain adequate biological control in the small cooling tower at our remote, unmanned power generating facility. We needed a treatment system that could operate daily and reliably to treat the water, without any manual over-site. Something that posed minimal dangers to the plant or the environment, and had adequate fail safes built into it. We had reservations about ozone being sufficient to control the bio-fowling, and yet not be corrosive to the system.
The fact that we were provided the option to rent, or "rent-to-buy" the ozone treatment system allowed us to try it with less risk. Ozone treatment on a daily basis has accomplished more consistently acceptable bacteria counts than any of the other "non-ozone" treated towers. We are considering ozone treatment for some of our other plants.
Our old technology was to weekly, manually, “shock-treat” with a powdered chlorine/bromine oxidizing biocide along with a weekly dose of non-oxidizing biocide. This only occurred if someone was able to visit the site that week. We have not abandoned our previous technology, but use it subsequent to the ozone. The dosage rate is much less now. It requires very little oxidizing biocide to achieve a lasting free chlorine residual.

We spoke on the phone Monday morning regarding the smells that still lingered in my townhouse after 24 hours running the ozone machine. We used the ozone machine in our rental house. Our previous renters allowed a mouse infestation in the house. It was so bad you could smell it immediately when you entered the home. The mouse dirt was 3/4 of an inch deep under the child's toy box. So you can imagine what it was like under the washer, dryer, stove and fridge.
After cleaning the house you could still smell the mice. We set the ozone machine in the house and ran it for 2 days. What a wonderful machine. The smell was completely gone. After 3 months you still cannot smell anything! I would recommend this machine to anyone! If it can get that smell out, it really works. Thanks to Ozone Solutions!! We didn't know how it get the house smelling fresh again after cleaning and painting all the walls.

We rented an ozone generator with hopes of getting rid of the smoke smell left over from the previous owners of a house we just purchased. It was WONDERFUL! We had anticipated turning on the house fan but that idea left when the thermostat went up in smoke.
With good intentions and no time to spare we turned on the generator and each day moved it from room to room. We also turned on all of the fans in the house to circulate the ozone. When the time came to send the generator back, we ran in and grabbed it then shipped it off leaving the house full of ozone. We didn't come back for 3 days and when I did I expected to smell a hint of smoke.
There was nothing! No odor at all! It has been amazing. I am definitely recommending this to everyone I know. It works great!

I would like to say thanks to Ozone Solutions for the help that they gave me with getting smoke smells and other smells out of cars. I fix up and sell cars at my body shop. Our home was two to three years old and we noticed an alarming black smudge along the ceiling and the wall. Alarm turned to anger. Our son has a mold allergy and had been hospitalized three times for pneumonia related to his allergies, which cause respiratory symptoms.
I tried in vain scrubbing the mold away and spraying it down with bleach. It always came back within days, and it got worse.
Several men from the home builder inspected our attic and told us that there was nothing wrong. Another man from the window company told us that this often happens above sinks and tubs with poor ventilation. However, we’ve had an air exchange unit from the start.
We really wanted to take precautions as our son was sick constantly between hospitalizations. We tried to do the right things and could not imagine this mold problem could be happening in our new home.
Finally, we found the problem: Cold air, directly from the outside, was making direct contact with the sheet rock causing condensation and, eventually, mold. All this happened in the first year of owning our home. Crazy as it may sound, the home manufacturer sent a plumber when we called to relay what we discovered.
Mr. Keizer (our heating and plumbing provider) saved the day! After hearing about the mold, he brought us the ozone generator. I was more than skeptical. I thought there was no way something the size of a couple of loaves of bread could do anything, but we just plugged it in and let it run.
The ozone killed the mold spores, and I could wipe away any visible mold without having to scrub. It’s been several weeks and the mold has not returned. Best of all, the chronic cough my son developed in the last nine months is gone. I believe the ozone generator worked just as our plumber said it would.
We are happy and very thankful that Ozone Solutions is providing this equipment. All we had to do was plug it in!

We had a small ember jump out of our wood burning stove in our house one night that I didn't notice. I went right to bed afterwards and my wife woke me up about two and a half hours later to a smoke filled house. There was little to no burn damage in the house other than a small circle in our carpet, but our house wreaked of burnt carpet and smoke. The ozone system you have designed and installed on our behalf has solved our odor problems, such that we have not recived one complaint and/or fine since the installation has been completed in September of 2009.

Lyle invited all of us Sioux Center realtors to walk through a recently purchased home, which previously occupied two chain smokers for 15 plus years. I traded my existing home with this couple because I am building a home on the golf course.
I knew the home I received from them would be a challenge. We painted everything, had the carpets professionally cleaned, etc... I then showed the newly renovated home to a potential buyer, not knowing that the heavy nicotine odor would return.

The ozone deodorizing that Ozone Solutions offered as a service to Debbie was very nice.

About a month ago I walked through a home, by invitation of Lyle Bruns, that previously had a couple living in it that were chain smokers for longer than 15 years. A local realtor purchased the home. He cleaned and painted all the walls and had the carpets professionally cleaned.
Two weeks after the new paint smell wore off, the cigarette smoke odor came back very strong. In some areas of the home, the smoke smell was really hard on your eyes.
Lyle came in with some large ozone equipment and deodorized the home for 30 hours. Yesterday, Thursday Oct. 15, all the realtors got together again and walked through the home. Ozone Solutions helped Debbie with her recently purchased home which had a nicotine odor that was very bad, even after a professional cleaning company was hired, and the repainting was finished. When I myself witnessed that 15-plus-year nicotine odor from chain smokers was destroyed with ozone I became a believer of ozone deodorizing.
It's nice to know you have units that are portable for the seller/customer to rent in less extreme cases. I have had potential buyers not even enter the home when the door is first opened and they are met with an odor. It turns them off so quickly. This ozone process would get rid of that problem, and those houses would sell much quicker.

WOW, what a difference! When I first walked through that stinky home, I figured that there was no way that Lyke could get the cigarette smell out. The nicotine odor came right through the newly painted walls. I didn't know ozone worked that well.

The smoke smell is completely gone in just a week, and renting the machine was much more reasonable than the reclamation service in the Yellow Pages, who wanted $600 to fog with a chemical. The house was occupied by smokers for 4 years, and, although we washed walls, repainted, had the carpet professionally cleaned, and aired it out for a month, the first thing prospective renters noticed when they walked in was the smell of stale cigarette smoke. I am so glad that I found your website!

I recently bought a leather bag for myself on E-bay, and couldn't wait for it to arrive. When my package came, and I eagerly ripped it open, my nose was assaulted by a strong smoke smell. My heart sank because I couldn't even stand to be in the same room as the offensive smelling bag.
