Q.Can the internal pump operate continuously?
A.Yes. The pump has a rated lifetime of 5,000 hours (7 months).
Q.Can I use a different program than Hyper-terminal to collect the data?
A.Yes. A program called Tera-Term is available at the following website: http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA002416/teraterm.html The Tera-Term program is preferred since Hyper-terminal only has a 500 line buffer limit.
Q.Does elevation affect the accuracy of the ozone analyzer?
A.No. The accuracy of the analyzer will only vary 1-2 PPB for any elevation of 7,000-ft or less.
Q.Is the ozone analyzer sensitive to other gases?
A.Yes. It is also sensitive to organics but low levels will not contribute significantly to interference. The general rule is that if you can smell the organic, then it may cause slight interference with the reading. Mild odors are typically not an issue. Chemicals like those commonly found in labs do not cause interference with the ozone analyzer.
Q.How often does this monitor require calibration?
A.The manufacturer recommends a yearly calibration. The readings of all ozone monitors will start to stray over time and need to be corrected when possible.
Q.Will I get a tracking number when my item ships?
A.For customers who chose UPS: a tracking number is automatically sent via e-mail before the order leaves our warehouse.
For customers who chose FedEx: a tracking number is usually available if requested by either e-mail or phone.
For customers who chose USPS: tracking numbers are only created by USPS for select services, such as insured packages. We will be happy to provide available tracking information if requested.
