I recently bought a leather bag for myself on E-bay, and couldn't wait for it to arrive. When my package came, and I eagerly ripped it open, my nose was assaulted by a strong smoke smell. My heart sank because I couldn't even stand to be in the same room as the offensive smelling bag. I was very nervous about which cleaning products I could use without damaging the leather, and was afraid that I was going to have to either live with the smell or never use the bag. I read something about using an ozone generator to remove smoke smells, and thought I would give it a try. I rented a small unit, and was thrilled with the results. After a few hours of "ozone therapy" the only thing I can smell when I use my bag is leather!

It worked!

I had just about given up on this house. But this wonderful machine managed to eradicate all traces of 10+ years of two chain smokers. Now there's not a whiff of smoke smell.

Over the weekend I refinished a desk in a closed office space. After we stained and varnished the desk we turned on the ozone generator. The varnish and stain smell was eliminated. In fact, the air in the office seemed fresher than before we began.

The smoke smell is completely gone in just a week, and renting the machine was much more reasonable than the reclamation service in the Yellow Pages, who wanted $600 to fog with a chemical.
