Q.Can you use metric sized tubing with US sized compression fittings?
A.No. The US sized fittings will not seal against the tubing properly.
Q.What is the difference between Teflon and FEP or PFA?
A.TeflonŽ is DuPont's trademark for its family of fluoropolymer resins which includes PTFE, FEP and PFA. The name is sometimes erroneously used to denote PTFE only. There are other brand names for these fluoropolymers, such as THV, PVDF, ETFE, ECTFE and CTFE.
Q.Will I get a tracking number when my item ships?
A.For customers who chose UPS: a tracking number is automatically sent via e-mail before the order leaves our warehouse.
For customers who chose FedEx: a tracking number is usually available if requested by either e-mail or phone.
For customers who chose USPS: tracking numbers are only created by USPS for select services, such as insured packages. We will be happy to provide available tracking information if requested.
