Q.Will I get a tracking number when my item ships?
A.For customers who chose UPS: a tracking number is automatically sent via e-mail before the order leaves our warehouse.
For customers who chose FedEx: a tracking number is usually available if requested by either e-mail or phone.
For customers who chose USPS: tracking numbers are only created by USPS for select services, such as insured packages. We will be happy to provide available tracking information if requested.Q.Can I use the ozone badge outside?
A.Yes, if you keep it out of the sunlight. Sunlight affects the color indicator. The badge is recommended for indoor use, but can be used outdoors if used properly.
Q.Do I have to use all five tests at once?
A.No. You can separate each test by several weeks or months, if needed. Each badge comes with 5 individual tests for repeatability.
Q.Should I do a test more than once?
A.Yes. It is recommended to duplicate the test since any ozone detected should be verified with another test. This is easily done since the badge comes with 5 separate test strips.
Q.What can I used if I need greater accuracy?
A.The ozone badge is designed to provide a general idea of the ozone level, not to be an exact measurement. If you do need a more precise instrument, we recommend the EZ-1X ozone monitor.
Q.What effect will sunlight have on the ozone indicator patch?
A.Prolonged exposure to sunlight will darken the ozone indicator patch past its proper ozone reading. For that reason, leaving the card exposed to sunlight after taking a reading is not recommended since it will then indicate an artificially high level of ozone.
Q.What are proper storage conditions for this detector card?
A.It is recommended that you store these cards in a cool, dark place. Exposure to sunlight (or UV light), humidity, or ambient air can decrease their effective storage life.
